Dr Catherine O’Rawe is Senior Lecturer in Italian at Bristol University. She is the author of the book Stars and Masculinities in Contemporary Italian Cinema (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014) and co-editor of The Femme Fatale: Images, Histories, Contexts (Palgrave Macmillan, 2010). She has also published widely on both post-war and post-2000 Italian cinema, and has a particular interest in gender and stardom.
